“Another day, another pain.
Why can’t I just be normal?
Everyone else is better than me.
I hate myself and what I see.”
But-
There’s only so much that we can see
Reflected in the glass.
There’s only a part of ourselves that shows
And that we see is there.
Girl, it’s only glass with a silver coating.
How can it tell you who you are?
Forget the mirror’s lies
And live like the princess you are.
‘Cause, you know, girl,
You’re beautiful inside.
Only one who really cares,
The only one who matters,
The only person thinking
That way is you.
‘Cause-
There’s only so much that we can see
Reflected in the glass.
There’s only a part of ourselves that shows
And that we see is there.
Girl, it’s only glass with a silver coating.
How can it tell you who you are?
Forget the mirror’s lies
And live like the princess you are.
‘Cause, you know, girl,
You’re beautiful inside.
What’s it worth to feel so down?
It doesn’t make you loved less.
Not everyone wants toothpick thin.
Don’t wreck your life into a mess.
And-
There’s only so much that we can see
Reflected in the glass.
There’s only a part of ourselves that shows
And that we see is there.
Girl, it’s only glass with a silver coating.
How can it tell you who you are?
Forget the mirror’s lies
And live like the princess you are.
‘Cause, you know, girl,
You’re beautiful inside.
